Fulfilling my random desires.

If I ever had a question that God cared about me and my random wishing He showed me this weekend. To explain this story I must travel back to my teen years. At about 16 years old my sister Ashley introduced me to the wonderful world of country music. I was automatically enthralled with Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, their love story and their amazing contributions to the musical rehlm. When I was in HS(and I don't remember the exact year) they came to Los Angeles with a joint tour. My desire to see this tour was unparalleled, but my hatred for California freeways was greater and I didn't end up buying tickets. It was one of the disappointments of my youth(if you know me now you know I drive all freeways all the time, I can navigate with the best of 'em!) This Christmas I heard about the Soul 2 Soul tour that was showing in Vegas. I knew that I couldn't miss it, but I also knew that a 200 dollars(and higher) was a bit steep for me to pay. Thanks to God and his magestical ways He provided a way. Christmas Eve my aunt told me tickets had been purchased--she originally was going to take someone else(to my dismay). When her buddy fell through I jumped on the chance,  wasn't going to miss the chance again!

Walking to the show....clearly excited!

It was the BEST concert of my life. They sang every song I wanted them to and it was so fun to see their love played out on stage. I sang and danced the evening away and I probably looked like a fool to the stuffy elderly people behind me and the couples in love in front of me, but I enjoyed every minute of the experience. When they sang "I need you" I was transformed back to my youth and the mystical "love" story. It was such a fun evening and one I won't soon forget.

God knew my love for country music and my long time desire, he also knew my uptight monetary ways. He provided a way for me to go without it being my complete decision. He fulfilled my random longing. I love His love, oh how he loves me.

Thank you Aunt Becki, Aunt Red, and Uncle Bobby. Such a fantastic weekend!

Also included in this fabulous weekend was a visit with my sister Ashely and her daughter Stasia (they live in Vegas and met me on the strip for some fun on Sunday afternoon)

And finally, because I am silly and enjoy life too much...ME, doing my new Crossfit trick--they are called kipping handstand push-ups!
